Create a client timesheet

In this article, we explain how to create a one‑off timesheet for a client, including a client‑only timesheet with no staff member.

Use this option to quickly add a timesheet directly from the client record.

To create a client timesheet, follow these steps:

📌 Note: To create a client‑only timesheet with no staff member paid, skip steps 6–9 and select Client only timesheet next to the client details.

  1. Click Client.

  2. Click on the client.

  3. Click Timesheet.

  4. Use the calendar icon to choose the week you want to create the timesheet for.

  5. Click New.

  6. Click Change to select a staff member.

  7. Enter the staff member’s surname or first name, then click Find.

  8. Click on the staff member.

  9. Click Select.

  10. Enter the required timesheet details.

  11. Select Verify for invoice and Verify for payroll if needed.

  12. Click Save changes.
