Overriding public holidays on rate sheets

In this article, we explain how to set up overriding public holidays on rate sheets.

Written by Emma Ianson

Public holiday rates can change based on business need. By setting overriding public holidays on a rate sheet, you control how charge and pay rates apply on those days and make sure the correct values are used.

When overriding public holidays are set on a rate sheet, these details are used to work out public holiday rates. Any settings in Default public holidays are ignored.

Overriding public holidays must be updated when new public holidays are added.

If a product row on a rate sheet has the PH box selected, the rate from that row is used for the charge and pay amount on public holidays defined in overriding public holidays.

To add overriding public holidays to a rate sheet, follow these steps:

  1. Click Setup.

  2. Click Rate Sheets.

  3. Choose the rate sheet you need.

  4. Click Overriding Public Holidays.

  5. On the Public Holidays pop-up, click Add.

  6. In the Holiday Date field, enter the required date.

  7. Change the Time from and Time to fields as needed.

  8. Enter the Charge and Pay weight values.

  9. On the left of the row, select the checkbox.

  10. Click Save changes.
