We’re pleased to announce the 8.0.0 release of Webroster. In this release, our goal is to enhance the functionality and security of our rostering software, aligning it more closely with the evolving need and expectations of our users. By implementing these changes and updates, we aim to:

  • Improve user experience: By introducing features such as Pay for Shift, we strive to provide a more intuitive and efficient user experience. These improvements empower managers and administrators to make informed decisions, adjust schedules, and ensure smoother operations within your organisation.

  • Enhance security measures: The implementation of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) across various portals underscores our commitment to prioritising the security and privacy of your data. This additional layer of authentication adds an extra level of protection, reducing the risk of unauthorised access and safeguarding sensitive information.

  • Streamline reporting processes: With the introduction of the Timesheet Extract Enhancements, we aim to simplify the generation of timesheet reports. The inclusion of the new Staff_Contract column ensures that all relevant contract details are readily available within the exported CSV files, facilitating streamlined reporting and analysis for you.

Overall, we’ve designed these changes and updates to elevate your user experience, enhance security measures, streamline reporting processes, and reinforce our brand identity. Pay for shift

Discover our exciting new Pay for Shift feature, giving you streamlined compensation! Shift pay now compensates employees for specific periods, irrespective of completed tasks, simplifying the payroll process, and ensuring fair compensation for all.

Note: No ECM integration with CM2000, Access Care Planning or the Optimiser engine.

Timesheet extract enhancements

We’ve added a new Staff_Contract column to the timesheet data extract, ensuring that contract details are easily accessible within your exported CSV files. This enhancement streamlines your reporting process by ensuring that contract details are easily accessible within the exported CSV file. This gives you greater confidence knowing you’re reporting all relevant information, including contracts.

When exporting your timesheet data, simply select the Contract checkbox. Your exported CSV file then includes the Contract column, detailing the associated contract information if applicable.


Portals two-factor authentication

We’ve extended two-factor authentication (2FA) across various portals, including staff, supplier, customer, and client portals, enhancing security measures and protecting user accounts from unauthorised access.

The enhancements and updates represent our ongoing commitment to delivering value-driven solutions and continuously improving our software to meet the evolving needs of our users in the care industry. This ensures that all users, including staff, suppliers, customers, and clients can now benefit from an additional layer of security when accessing our platform.


2FA integration across portals

Two-factor authentication (2FA) now extends to staff, supplier, customer, and client portals, in addition to standard logins.


User role configuration

Users with different roles have the flexibility to enable or disable 2FA for their accounts within their respective portals.


Administrative settings visibility

Two new options: Require Two-Factor Authentication and Force change of Two-Factor Authentication are now visible and configurable for all staff, supplier, customer, and client portals in the administrative settings.


Fixes

We’re also including a number of fixes in this release.

  • Replacement of Webroster logo.

  • Timesheet approval and verification issues.

  • Reporting errors: service delivery plan, QA report generation, logo display, invoice printing.

  • System performance issues post-migration.

  • Email blocking and sending failures.

  • Rotas email and visit pull-through errors.

  • Inactive employee and general Webroster issues.

  • Invoice and payroll discrepancies.

  • Travel expenses and check-in time reconciliation issues.

  • Mapping display errors.

  • Rostering holiday amendment and related errors.

  • Customer invoice not showing in funder.

  • User data creation and worksheet issues.

  • Carer visit allocation and visibility issues.

  • Client orders not ending due to active products on roster.


How this version will be made available

This releases automatically on Wednesday 12 June 2024.

You’ll automatically receive access to some of the new features and fixes on release date. There’s nothing you need to do, updates seamlessly integration into your existing system!
