Private extras

In this article, we explain how to hide staff or client extras that contain sensitive information.

Extras can be used to store additional staff or client information, some of which may be sensitive. Marking an extra as private restricts who can see it, helping protect confidential data while still keeping it available where required.

To privatise an extra, follow these steps:

  1. Click Setup.

  2. Click Extras.

  3. Select the extra type appropriately, such as Staff extra or Client extra.

  4. Click on the extra you want to make private.

  5. Select Private, or Private client extra for client extras.

  6. Click Save changes
